One of the new projects Fuchsia will launch with in 2009, The Futures Of is a non-profit initiative in collaboration with our friends at UMU. The project is a series of filmed events designed to explore and shape the futures of a key theme.

Our debut theme is the Built Environment: decision-makers from ten diverse organisations are invited to sit round The Futures Of table with people they would not ordinarily find themselves next to, in a room they would not ordinarily find themselves in.

Their purpose is to collaborate to find and seize the kinds of critical near-term opportunities which only come to light through the process of long-term thinking.

Insights, visions and opportunities from the day are in turn shared with as wide an audience as possible to inform strategic conversations and decision-making around other tables in other rooms.
